We’re Jr. and Emeri Rosa, the husband-and-wife team behind Homestead Horsemanship. Rooted in faith, family, and a deep love for horses, we’ve built a life in the Missouri Ozarks where we raise and train Missouri Fox Trotters and Clydesdales. What started as a dream has become a journey of hard work, restoration, and sharing the beauty of rural life with others.

The Moment We've Been Waiting For… Oliver & Nattie FINALLY TOGETHER!

A HUGE moment here at Homestead Horsemanship! ❤️ Our Clydesdale stallion Oliver and our Clydesdale mare Nattie are finally being put together for the first time, and this is a ...moment we've been waiting years for!

Oliver has quite a story of his own. We brought him home after he was rescued from an auction, and he nearly lost his life to EPM, a serious neurological disease. After everything he went through, seeing him reach this chapter of his life means so much to us.

And then there's Nattie! We brought her home when she was just 10 months old after she wasn't picked up by the winning bidder at a Clydesdale sale. We had our own plans for this beautiful girl, and one day we hoped she would grow up to have a foal by Oliver.

Now, Nattie is all grown up, and the day has finally come to introduce these two with the hope of a future Clydesdale foal!

We're watching and waiting for Nattie to come into heat, and then we'll take her in for a pregnancy check to see if our hopes of a foal from Oliver and Nattie will become a reality. There's still more to this story, but this is a BIG first step!

Will we have a little Oliver and Nattie foal in our future? Follow along with us here at Homestead Horsemanship to find out!

Thank you for being part of these horses' stories and following their journeys with us. We can't wait to share what happens next!
